What is Ready for Kindergarten?

Ready for Kindergarten is a small-group summer learning experience designed for children entering kindergarten in the fall.

Led by a certified, experienced teacher, these sessions help prevent the summer slump while giving children practice with the routines, skills, and confidence they’ll use every day in kindergarten all in a fun, supportive environment.

What We’ll Work On

Through hands-on, play-based activities, students will practice:

  • Listening and participating in a small group
  • Following simple routines and directions
  • Letter recognition and letter sounds
  • Name writing and early fine-motor skills
  • Counting, sorting, and number sense
  • Taking turns, building independence, and confidence

Program Details

  • Session Dates: July 13–August 7, 2026
  • Time: 8:30–9:30 am
  • Schedule: Groups meet twice a week for 4 weeks
  • Session Length: 1 hour each session
  • Location: Tiny Play CafĂ©
  • Required: Parent/Guardian MUST stay on site with child 

PRICING

$400 for 4 Weeks

Registration includes 2 sessions per week for 4 weeks at $50.00/session.

Hi, I'm Molly 👋

I’m a certified teacher heading into my 13th year in education, with experience teaching kindergarten, first grade, and fifth grade. I have a Master of Art in Teaching and a Master of Education in School Counseling.

Having taught both early elementary and upper grades, I know exactly which foundational skills make the biggest difference as students move into a new school year. My goal is to help children feel confident, capable, and excited about learning especially during important transitions like kindergarten and first grade.

I believe learning should feel safe, encouraging, and fun and Tiny Play Cafe is the perfect place for that to happen.
